What does this film teach?

What a card read becomes: a decision, an attendance entry, and a headcount inside a zone.

The setup

• Cards assigned to people, with their own validity
• Zones with a hazard class, and readers on them
• A token for the gateway that sends the reads

Its effect

• Every read is logged, allowed or denied, with its reason
• An allowed entry writes the day's check-in
• Honest limit: software is ready, the hardware is not yet installed
